I came across this Group Writing Project on Daily Blog Tips and thought of participating in it. I’m new to blogging and setting goals will definitely help me work harder, prioritize and most importantly learn more.
So here is my list of Internet/Blogging goals for 2009 in no particular order.
- Increase the frequency of my posts.
- Start posting at least one original and quality content on my blog every week.
- Submit articles to EzineArticles, Goarticles, etc and create some Squidoo pages.
- Get at least 20 guest posts. (Anyone can help, please let me know)
- Participate actively in at least one online forum.(Any Suggestions).
- Read more, learn more, comment more.
- Interact more with my readers.
- Use Twitter more effectively to share information, make more friends online and promote my blogs.
- Hopefully generate some income from my blog so that I can afford to host on my own.
- And the usual numbers.(Increase number of subscribers, diggs, technorati authority, etc.)
This is pretty much everything that I can come up with at the moment. Now that I have put this down in writing and that too in public, I hope I don’t chicken out.
I have not put any numbers purposely(1000 subscribers, technorati authority of 200, etc) as I just started out and am not sure what a realistic target would be. Probably I’ll update this post later, at the end of this month after analyzing the stats so far.
You can help by subscribing to this blog, adding it to your Technorati Favourites, following me on Twitter.
Advice, tips are welcome.
So, what about you, what are your Internet Goals for 2009?

Thanks for commenting.
And yes, I'll certainly be having fun with my blog as well.
those are noble causes indeed. good luck in achieving them but what happened of “having more fun with my blog”? i guess this is what i am going to go after for 2009. Have more fun! It’s been great so far but i wish it’ll get better!
Your goals seem to be realistic and easy to obtain! Good luck with them! I personally feel I need to concentrate more on reading other blogs and commenting on them rather than most of my precious time in Social networking sites!
Thanks.
Even I waste too much time on social networks, gotta start using my time more productively.
I've also just started out, but instead of you I chose some big numbers

Best of luck with yours!
Hey thanks,
Best of luck with your goals too.
Your goals are reasonable and interesting. I hope you reach them
