Gmail Tasks

Tasks is a new addition to Gmail Labs. To install this feature, go to Settings > Labs and select “Enable” next to “Tasks” and then click “Save Changes” at the bottom. You will see ‘Tasks’ listed on the left sidebar, below Contacts.

Click on it to start using, a ‘Tasks’ box pops up on the lower-right corner. This is basically a very light to-do-list. You can add new tasks, reorder them, or mark as completed. New features can be expected soon, and if you want anything you can suggest it to google here

The best feature is the ability to add emails as task. Just select the email you want to add as a task, and select ‘Add to Tasks’ from the ‘More Actions’ drop down menu.

I keep my Gmail open all the time this will be real useful for me.

Some features I would like to be added to Tasks:

  •  Integration or sync with Google Calender.
  •  Sending/sharing the to-do-lists.
  •  some king of alert.

What features would you like Gnail Tasks to have?
